Program for viewing, editing, manipulating, and analyzing absorbance spectra. Simple arithmetic includes making linear combinations of up to 10 spectra. Advanced functions include fitting spectra as LC of standard basis spectra, singular value decomposition, Fourier transform, differentiation, integration, global fitting of 3D titration and kinetic data. Graphics features allow composing Figures and export to postscript files which can be converted to pdf, imported into PhotoShop for rasterization, or used in page design software like Illustrator.

The DNA pattern represents a new method of analysis for DNA sequences. In general it can easily detect relationships among species over the evolutionary landscape. Largely, in bioinformatics the DNA pattern method is unexplored and many discoveries can be made through it. One of the questions to which an answer was given is: How many types of promoters are out there regulating the genes ? It seems that there are 10 types of promoters. The project also contains 20,000 images (DNA patterns) that can be analyzed in relation to various genetic disorders (if Homo Sapiens) or for understanding the evolutionary mechanisms between species. A user-friendly interface for running simulations of the gene networks comprising the circadian clock. Modules allow the simulation of experimental protocols with just a few mouse clicks. Users can fine-tune simulations to suit their particular interests.

OligoYap can be used to design classical PCR, SYBR Green, TaqMan, MGB, Molecular Beacons, Microarray and Real-Time PCR primers/probes and for bioinformatics analysis. It has the features of enzyme cut analysis, mutation analysis, DNA/protein match and BLAST. You can easily record laboratory materials/files, prepare PCR mix and many other laboratory operations. It works on windows8.1 and earlier operating systems, but has not been tried on windows10 and later. For better images, you can right-click the exe file and check the features/compatibility "Disable screen scaling in high DPI settings" box. On some systems (as win8.1) you may also need to check the "run as administrator" option.
